Uganda Humanist Schools Trust helps schools in Uganda working to offer liberal, humanist education to needy children. Founded by Ugandan Humanists and run as charities, the schools are inclusive and do not discriminate on grounds of religion, social or ethnic background.

Progress of Phase 2
Completed in Phase 1: We are delighted that generous donations from UHST supporters have enabled us: to refurbish the Kasese Schools at Rukoki, Kahendero, Muhokya (bringing mains electricity), to construct new toilets at Lily van Haelen Girls’ Hostel at Isaac Newton School, school halls at Kanungu and Isaac Newton primaries, toilets for girls, boys and staff at Kanungu and Eagle’s View primaries, girls’ and boys’ dormitories at Katumba Parents’ Primary School. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this transformational work.
